UCO Bank is among the major nationalized public sector banks in India with its Head office in Kolkata and was Formed in 1943. UCO Bank was previously called United Commercial bank, then got its name changed in 1985.

UCO Bank invites applications for 19 Official Language Officers posts from those qualifying IBPS Common Specialist Officers Exam conducted in Mar 2012.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only Candidates getting passed in IBPS Specialist Officers CWE Mar 2012 are eligible to apply with additional qualifications as mentioned.
• A PG Degree in Hindi with English as a subject OR PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects.

• Age Limit Relaxation -
  • SC/ST - 5 Years
  • OBC - 3 Years
  • PWD - 10 Years
  • EXSM - 5 Years

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be shortlisted depending on vacancies and UCO Bank will call them for Interviews.
• Final Selection will be made on the basis of overall performance (IBPS SO CWE and GD/Interview).
• The total marks for Interview are 75. Candidates will have to obtain 40% to qualify Interview. (35% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
