Govt Listens - Common Interviews for Bank Jobs may Start Soon

It looks as if Government has decided to step in and give some relief to huge community of bank jobs aspirants in the country as it is planning to conduct Common interviews for all the 19 Main Pubic sector banks in The country.
Feeling the need for change:-
As we analyze the past year's recruitment process through IBPS CWE Scores, it is on the verge of completion now with many banks finalizing their lists of selected candidates. A common dilemma throughout this selection process has been Multiple Selection of one candidates in Many banks.
Reason is clear, high scoring candidates got more than enough chances while those with relatively low scores didn't get any at all. This caused many banks to select the same candidate and thus, banks were unable to fill all their vacancies.
The undisclosed officials from ministry of finance have accepted that almost70% of CWE Passed candidates in this year have remained Un-Interviewed by any of the participating banks. This situation is surely calling for a reformative change to restore faith of candidates in the selection process.
Also, Govt has decided to fix the eligibility criteria that all banks will abide by throughout the selection process.
The Changes:-
According to the new policy,CWE Passes candidates will be interviewed jointly by the committee that will have representative officers from each bank. These candidates will then choose banks depending on final merit list to be prepared after CWE and Interview scores.
The Impact:-
The changes are targeted to meet the most frustrating issue which is multiple selections of a single candidate. This has two bad sides, banks can't fill all their vacancies and not all candidates get Interviewed.
The new policy will surely eliminate this challenge as all the candidates will be logged in a central location and whom-so-ever selects any particular bank, will get removed from the list to give space to others.
The Road Ahead:-
The new Policy is expected to be finalized and implemented soon. It is expected to come into play from Next CWE Onwards as past year CWE's selection process has come to an end now and candidates will soon get their cards expired. We expect that the new CWE passed candidates are expected to have the benefits of this new policy.
