Intelligence Bureau Invites applications for recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officers on total 750 Posts. Intelligence Bureau is under the control of Ministry of Home Affairs.

SBI Associate Banks 7740 Clerks Recruitment 2012


Big News!! SBI Has announced Recruitment of 7740 Clerks Posts in Its Associate Banks as part of its Recruitment process in 2012.

Vacancies to be filled in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ - 1400 Posts), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH - 1880 Posts),State Bank of Mysore (SBM - 800 Posts), State Bank of Patiala (SBP - 1160 Posts), State Bank of Travancore (SBT - 2500 Posts)
The State Bank Group (SBI and its Associate Banks)have over 21500 Branches in India and Abroad.
SBI has made a valuable announcement by inviting applications for recruitment on 7740 Clerical Posts in its Associate Banks.

  • Payscale :- Rs. 7200 - 19300 (Approx Rs. 14,200/Month)

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be between 18-28 yrs of age as on 01.08.2012 (Should have born Between Aug 02, 1984 - Aug 01, 1994),
  • Should have passed intermediate with at least 60% marks (55% For SC/ST/EXS/PWD)
    OR,
    Pass in any degree from a recognized university (No percentage Criteria).
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Computers and local language is preferred.
  • Relaxation in Upper age Limit :-
    • For SC/ST :- 5 Years Relaxation,
    • For OBC :- 3 Years Relaxation,
    • For PWD (GEN) :- 10 Years Relaxation,
    • For PWD (SC/ST) :- 15 Years Relaxation,
    • For PWD (OBC) :- 13 Years Relaxation,
  • No Bond criteria is mentioned on selection, but the candidates will be on probation for 6 Months.

Selection Procedure


Selection to be made on the basis of performance in written test and Interview. Written test will have objective type questions from General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Marketing
Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.
There will be negative marking of 1/4th of the total marks for any question.
Bank will later Passing marks and depending on the vacancies (In the ratio of 1:3), candidates will be called for Interviews.

Application Procedure

The fee is Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS and Rs. 350 for Others. The payment can be Made in Both ways, Online or Offline. Online payment can be made using any Debit/Credit Card.
Please note that if you choose to pay Offline, Payment is to made After Filling Online Application Form.  
To apply, firstly get ready your scanned photograph and signature. Then Fill the Online Application Form Via Application Link (To be activated on July 30). Take print out of the system generated Fee payment challan and note the Registration Number and password.
The payment of fees can be done using the generated payment challan fromsecond day of application and for next three working days only. The registration can be confirmed only after the fee is paid.
On confirmation of registration, you will receive and SMS/Email within 2 working days stating the same.
The applicants will be able to download their written test call Letters From Sep 24, 2012.

Interview Call - Union Bank of India Calls 8499 for 1636 Clerks Posts Interviews


Union Bank of India has announced list of shortlisted candidates and interview schedule List for its clerical recruitment process of 1626 Posts that was announced in July 2012.
How Many ?? - > The bank has now announced the Interview schedule and list of candidates shortlisted for the same. UBI has invited total 8499 Candidates for the Interviews for these posts to be held from Aug 1 - 9. The List of shortlisted candidates with their Interview details can be seen in thisOfficial Notification.
Call Letters ?? - > Shortlisted candidates are reportedly Receiving Emails about their Interview details such as Interview dates and call letters. Link to download call letters will be available soon on Union Bank of India website. We'll also update this page as call letters are available for download.
Cut-Offs?? Like other banks have been doing recently,UBI also has not issued cut-offs that is used to shortlist these candidates.However, possibility of such an announcement in the near future may not be denied.

About Interviews :-
The Interview will have total 50 marks and 50% are qualifying marks in it (45% for Reserved Category. Final Selection will be decided on the basis of overall performance (CWE Score + Interviews).

Interview Call - Canara Bank Calls 9987 for 2000 Clerks Posts Interviews


Canara Bank has issued the list of shortlisted candidates and interview schedule List for its clerical recruitment process announced in June 2012 for total 2000 clerical posts.
Interestingly, the first line on the Interview schedule notification page says that "All the candidates that has applied for this recruitment on the basis of the IBPS Clerical CWE scores, are called for the Interview process".
After analyzing the official notification page uploaded by Canara bank in this regard, we found that total 9987 candidates are called for Interviews and Group Discussion process to be conducted from July 30 to Aug 06, 2012.
Interview call letters will be available on the Canara Bank site very soon. We'll also update this page as call letters are available for download.
The Interview schedule page can be seen from here. Note that its a very heavy page and takes time to load. To check if your Roll number exists in the file, we suggest using CTRL+F function in your browser.
The bank has not issued cut-offs used to shortlist these candidates. We expect the bank has used the same eligibility criteria is used this time as that mentioned at the time of applications as it says that all the candidates are getting called for interviews.
Note that a Proficiency Test in the Official Language of the State will be conducted during GD / Interview Process and Marks for the same will be considered for the final selection.

Written results -RBI 1000 Assistants Recruitment 2012 written results


After a little delay, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced written results for its 1000 Assistants recritment 2012 for which the written exam was conducted across country on Apr 29, 2012 (also on June 16, 2012).

For the past few weeks candiadtes were discussing the same issue and predicting there own dates of announcement of the results of this highly anticipated exam.
RBI has finally issued the list that shows the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Looking at the pattern of difference between roll numbers of shortlisted candidates, it looks as if the competition has been very stiff in this exam.

RBI has not revealed any cut-offs used to shortlist these candidates. Some general instructions as shown are given by RBI to shortlisted candidates to ensure their participation in the further recruitment process.

  • Shortlisted candidates need to send photocopies of the certificates in support of their Date of Birth, Qualifications etc. , Caste Status (if SC/ST/OBC), Disability Certificate (for Persons with Disability - PWD) and Experience Certificate, if any, to the Regional Offices of RBI for which they appliied.
  •  They also need take a print out of the required documents for their category and send along with copies of above mentioned certificates to the Regional Director, HRM Department to the respective Regional Offices by Courier/Speed Post so that it reaches them within ten days of the date of publicationof result.

TNPSC-VAO Recruitment- Last Date:10-08-2012

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- 

Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent Qualifications on the Date of this Notification viz. 09.07.2012. Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION :-

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Examination and District option exercised by the candidates following rule of reservation of appointments. 8. EXAMINATION FEE:-

• Examination fee Rs.125/- (Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-) (Rupees One hundred and twenty five only)

• Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.

• Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency.

Bank of Baroda 2000 Clerks Recruitment - Interviews Announced


Bank of Baroda has announced names of candidates shortlisted for Interviews for 2000 Clerks Posts recruitment 2012.
The Bank invited applications for this recruitment from IBPS Clerical CWE Qualifiers in Mar/April that allowed only graduates to apply. But later (In May), BOB again reopened the registration window and allowed HSC Passed candidates to apply for this recruitment.
Now the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates are announced with Interviews to commence fromJuly 2.
Candidates' roll numbers are organized on state wise basis. shortlisted candidates will soon also receive E-mail/SMS about their Interview calls.
