Federal Bank - Manipal Education PO Programme - Apply Online

Federal Bank has entered into an agreement with Manipal Global Education Services like ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB and Andhra Bank to train the candidates successful in a competitive entrance exam for one year to be awarded with a PGDBF course degree.
Federal bank will conduct its own online aptitude test for selecting candidates for admission into the course, unlike some banks that are asking for IBPS scores as eligibility criteria to apply for such courses such as Andhra bank and PNB.

Course Details :-
Federal Bank - Manipal PO Programme is similar to ICICI - Manipal programme in that it will also involve registering the successful candidates in PG Diploma in Banking and Finance which will be awarded after 12 months of course.
After completion of 12 months training, candidates will be absorbed as POs in Federal Bank.

Important Dates:

Online registration : Till Oct 15, 2012,
Online Aptitude Test – October End(Exact dates to be intimated later). 
First Batch will Join the course in last of December 2012.

Eligibility Criteria

Should be between 21 - 26 yrs of age as on Aug 08, 2012 (upper limit relaxed by 5 yrs for SC/ST).
Should have completed any degree with 60% min aggregate marks. Final year candidates are eligible to apply provided they need to present final mark sheet by november 1, 2012.

Punjab National Bank 2985 Clerks Recruitment 2012-13

Punjab National Bank is a well known nationalised public sector bank in India. Started in 1894, PNB is now the second largest Commercial bank with over 5000 Branches across 764 cities and over 55,000 Employees.
After a long wait, PNB has finally announced huge clerical vacancies (2985 Posts) for IBPS Common Clerical Exam December 2011 qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age to be between 18-25 yrs as on 01.08.2011 (Age Limit relaxed as 5 - SC/ST, 3 - OBC, 10 - PWD),
  • Graduation Degree Pass in any Discipline with 50% (Just pass for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM).
  • Computer basics Knowledge certificate is Desired.
  • May apply only from the state in which you appeared for the exam and Proficiency in the official language of the State is Desired (Not Essential Though).
  • Apart from Min Passing cut-offs of 24 Marks/Subject for General (21 Marks for Others), There are Minimum State Wise Cut Offs specified also that candidates need to satisfy to be able to apply.

    SBI Recruitment - 19000 Clerks and 1000 PO Jobs to be announced Soon


    SBI (State Bank of India) is the country's largest bank and is set to announce huge clerical and PO Staff vacancies in the year to come. It is something to cheer about for the bank jobs seekers as having a job in SBI is always considered a big pleasure.

    SBI Is currently conducting interviews for its clerical and Stenographers recruitment 2012 and will soon announce final results for it.

    20000 Positions to be filled in one year:-
    As per a report on Businessline, SBI is looking to recruit 19,000 clerks and 1,000 officers in next one year. SBI currently has 80,329 officers and 95,018 clerks on its rolls in June, 2012.
    Mr. A. Krishna Kumar, Managing Director and Group Executive (National Banking), said that SBI will soon open about 1200 new branches and new recruits will serve these branches majority of which will be in Metro/Urban Areas. As clerical staff is less in many branches majority of new vacancies will belong to clerical cadre.

    35% to retire in 5 Years :-
    Mr. A. Krishna Kumar said that vacancies will continue to arise in future as 35-40% (About 80000) employees are set to retire in next 5 years. So, new people will be needed to replace these people and also to serve newly opened branches.
