Bank of Baroda 2000 Clerks Recruitment 2012 [Revised]

Bank of Baroda has issued a Revised Advertisement after a recent meetingbetween IBPS and Banks in which it was decided to remove the graduation requirement from clerical posts in the current session.

The Meeting shows its impact and caused Bank of Baroda to re-issue its 2000 Clerks Advertisement to allow 12th pass candidates to apply for the posts.

Note that IBPS CWE qualified graduates that have already applied for this BOB Clerks recruitment (Closed on Apr 10, 2012) need not apply and they will be considered for Interviews. Updated terms are as mentioned.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age to be between 18-28 yrs as on 01.08.2011 (Age Limit relaxed as 5 - SC/ST, 3 - OBC, 10 - PWD),
• Graduation Degree in any Discipline. 
  Or,
  Pass in XII(12th) with at least 50% Marks. 
  Or,
  Pass in X(10th) with at least 60% Marks. (Note that SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM Candidates just need to be pass - No percentage required at any level).
• Should have appeared in exam from a centre in the State for which candidate wishes to apply and Should possess proficiency in the official language of the State.
•  Only those qualified in IBPS CWE for Clerks Posts conducted in December 2011 are eligible to apply with minimum score requirement as follows.
• Required Minimum IBPS Score is State wise and can be seen from the Advertisement. However, candidates needs to score min score in each subject to qualify for Interview as mentioned below.
  • For General Category :- Min Marks is 24 in Each Subject.
  • For OBC/SC/ST/PWD/EXS Category :- Min Marks is 21 in Each Subject.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be called for Interviews on the basis of IBPS CWE Clerical Scores (State Wise) and Final selection to be made on the basis of overall performance (IBPS CWE and Interviews).

Application Procedure

• The fee is Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.150 for Others (GEN/OBC).
• Payment can be made Online or Offline. For offline payment, take a print out of This Payment Challan and submit fee at any Bank of Baroda branch.
• Make sure that Transaction ID, Branch Code etc. are mentioned on candidate's copy of your challan after payment.
• After Payment, apply online with all details filled properly. Note down the generated Registration Number and Password and keep the payment challan safe as it will be submitted in Interview.
• Take two application form prints for future reference with properly signed and photograph pasted on it. These will be submitted if shortlisted for Interview.

Call letters for Interviews will be sent to the shortlisted candidates via SMS / E-mail. Shortlisted candidates will also be listed on Bank' s Website well before Interviews Start.
