TANCET - Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test is conducted by TNSF-Consortium (Consortium of Self – Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu) for admission to the MBA, MCA, ME/ M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme of the participating colleges and Universities.

TANCET 2012 Eligibility:- Candidates need to be a graduate in any discipline under the 10+2+3/4 pattern

TANCET 2012 Exam Pattern / Syllabus:- Duration of the Test: 2 Hours, The test is split into 5 sections
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Knowledge Of Written English
  • Computer Awareness.

Each section comprises 20 questions. Each question is an objective type multiple choice question with a question followed by 5 answer choices. Each question has exactly one correct answer.

Test Centres:- CET-Tamil Nadu for MBA exams are conducted in the test centers across Tamilnadu. However, test centers may get changed by the Consortium for official reasons. Aspirants are advised to check the information brochure for the exact detail about the test centers.
TANCET Dates / Notification:-

MBA:- 31.03.2012 (Saturday) - 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
MCA:- 31.03.2012 (Saturday) - 02.30 p.m. to 04.30 p.m.
M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan:- 01.04.2012 (Sunday) - 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

    Go through the previous year model papers and find out the question pattern of the exam and prepare the questions according to the syllabus given. It helps you to save lot of time in the exam.

    -> Reading Comprehension

    -> Quantitative section

    -> Data Sufficiency

    -> Verbal ability
