IBPS will for the second time conduct the Common Written Examination or CWE for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts (IBPS- CWE- PO/MT-II) June 2012 on 17 June 2012. The online registration for Common Written Examination (CWE) will start from 9 March 2012 and will end on 30 March 2012.
We have prepared this practice set keeping in mind the pattern of IBPS CWE bank PO/ MT exam to strengthen your preparation. Candidates should gear up for the bank PO/ MT exam that assess a candidate's general ability to understand and execute the work processes of a bank. These practice sets in 5 segments mentioned below help you understand the nature of questions asked and henceforth prepare strategy to crack bank PO exams.
The system of Common Written Examination has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector Banks and the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) with the consent of Government of India. The banks participating in the CWE process are Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank, and Vijaya Bank.
State Bank of India and its associate banks do not come under this process and will conduct separate tests as and when required.
The candidates appearing for the examination will be issued a score card by IBPS which will be valid for one year from the date of issue. Each of the participating bank will then carry out its selection process and eligible applicants with valid score cards can apply for the group discussion, interview etc as decided by the bank.

- Reasoning
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General Awareness (with special reference to banking industry)
- Computer Knowledge
- Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc)
The above tests except the Test of English Language and Descriptive Paper on English Composition will be printed bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
